Whether you want to be surrounded by nature, in the city park, or on a beach, I can cover your photos on any location.

If you prefer a lifestyle shoot and want to include your personal sanctuary in your photos, in-home photo shoots are recommended. Plus, you will be in a familiar and comfortable area.

The most asked questions

Where do the sessions take place?

The sessions take place in-home or at a location.

Are you willing to travel around New York City?

Yes, I am willing to travel.

How much in advance should we make the booking?

The only right answer here is; as soon as possible! Trust me, photographers can get busy. It’s better that you make the booking as soon as you decide on the date.

Will you edit our photos?

Yes, I will edit each photo with a lot of love and ensure each photo you receive is in the best quality.

How will you be delivering Wedding images and how many?

Each photo I take is carefully taken and edited to mark your big day. You can expect to receive 50-80 edited pictures per hour of shooting time. For a standard 8-hour day of wedding photography, I typically provide 400-600 images. I usually deliver more and can surprise you with extra images. My motto is always to deliver quality over quantity.

How do I book?

You can shoot me an email at contact@lanas-eye.com or fill the contact form and I will respond within 48 hours. Once we have made our introductions, I will ll send you a questionnaire to get a little background on what you are looking for and a photography contract to sign. The next step will be a first payment due upon booking to lock the date. It also serves as a cancellation fee. The second payment will be due 2 weeks before the event day.

What payment methods do you accept?

I accept online payments, credit card and PayPal.

What about the retainer fee and other cost structures?

There is a non-refundable retainer fee required for all weddings, events and portraits. This fee is necessary to book and hold the date for your session. If you need to reschedule for some reason, the fee can be applied for another future session if you reschedule the appointment 72 hours before the date and time. All cancellations must be made in writing. I will do my best to accommodate the date as long as the date is available within the next six months.

Do you release raw files?

I do not release raw files. They are unfinished work of the photographer. The editing is part of the entire process of a photographer's art work.

How to use those beautiful images after the shoot?

You can order prints, wallpapers, photo albums directly from your password protected online gallery which I will share with you after the shoot. You can use your photos for gifts, post them on social media, and/or use them for your business cards or website.

Will you be working alone?

I will be the main photographer covering your event. Depending on your requirements and the scale of the event/session, I may add a person or two to my team .

Why should I hire you as my Photographer?

Being a photographer is not just a job for me, it is my most ardent passion. I have more than eight years' worth of experience shooting weddings, portraits and events. From the moment I take the picture to the delivery, I put a lot of love and pay attention to details; making sure we have the perfect picture angle, lighting and editing for the images.

Do you provide wedding cinematography and videography as well?

Currently, my focus is on wedding photography. However, I can recommend a few names until I expand into those areas as well.

What is your wedding photography style?

Each wedding photographer has their own style. Overall, I would describe it as wedding photojournalism. I try to take natural photos so I can capture moments as they were. I aim to preserve emotions, whispers of secret happy tears, smiles and laughs as they come while still taking photos worth being scrapbooked.

Will you take all wedding photos posed ?

Not at all! Following a more photojournalistic approach, I take a mix of posed and candid photos. Typically, I set aside 45 minutes to an hour for the couple to take some beautiful portraits of just the two of them and another 30 minutes to an hour for posed images with their friends and family. Don't worry, we'll have a detailed discussion about when to take the portraits and in what poses.

How long after the wedding can we expect to receive the photos?

I understand that you want to see your wedding photos as soon as possible. This is why I try to be as efficient as possible. Average wait time for Wedding Photos is anywhere between 4-6 Weeks. Not only will I try to deliver them quickly, I will also send some sneak peek photos that have been edited for you to view. As soon the Images are ready, I will send you a link to an online password-protected gallery where you will be able to share the images with your family and friends and on social media and order prints and create photo albums.

Will there be only one photographer?

Typically, you'll find me alone, trotting about the wedding with the camera. Handling the photography alone gives me a little more leeway to move about without attracting too much attention. This way, I can capture intimate and candid moments in their rawness. However, I may add a person or two to my team depending on your requirements.

How long is a Family session?

It depends on the package you purchase. A Family session can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. It depends on the package you purchase.

What if anyone gets sick?

That could happen anytime especially with kids. In this case please let me know in time so we can reschedule and find a new date.

How old does my newborn need to be to be photographed?

I recommend scheduling your newborn shoot around 5-10 days after you deliver your bundle of joy. That way, it will give you some time as well to come home and relax before having a shoot. This is a great time to capture some beautiful photos of your newborn with their siblings, snuggles with parents and close ups of your newborn baby's feet and hands.

How long does a newborn session take?

Newborn sessions can take as long as two hours. For me it is important to allow enough time in case you need to feed the baby and change the diapers and if you need a break no worries, I will make sure we have enough time. We'll discuss prior to the photo session when the baby's natural feeding and naptimes are so we can schedule the photo session around this time.

What kind of Creative Portraits/ Lifestyle photographs do you take?

It all depends on what you're looking for. Creative portraits/Lifestyle Sessions can cover a wide range of various types of photos. From environmental portraits, beauty sessions, boudoir, and couple sessions to Images for your social media profile, I cover it all.

Will you do the portraits session on location or in my house?

I can cover both! We'll start by discussing the kind of photos you need and the objective of the photoshoot. Once we have a theme at hand, we can choose a location outside or we can take the photos in your house. The choice is up to you. If we shoot in your house, make sure you tidy up and spruce your home a bit (a bunch of fresh flowers will do!). Although most of the photo-shootings are lifestyle, either in-home or at a location, if you wish I can also bring a mini portable studio to your home and we can shoot in front of a backdrop. I have many backdrops to choose from.

Will you take all posed photos?

No. The style of photos depends on whether they are corporate headshots, lifestyle or family photos. Besides headshots, the two other types of photography involve a mix of posed and candid photos.
